I could have sworn I've reviewed this place before. This is my third time visiting Jays after trying it twice and not being a big fan. I think the turn off for me was their hot peppers. I've never been a big fan of the green Jalapeño peppers only. I'm more of a giardiniera type guy, which they don't have. So I opted for sweet peppers, something I never do, and was actually quite impressed with the taste. The sandwich itself was packed with beef, and very wet. It tasted delicious. Overall I was really satisfied with Jays this time around. I'm glad I gave them another chance after like 6-7 years. Will definitely be retuning now.

Great beef! Would've preferred pickled vs fresh jalapeños. Overall a solid sandwich.

If you looking for a really good Italian beef Jay's is a great spot. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Their chicago hotdog is on point too.

Best beef in the surrounding area. They load it with meat. Great flavor. Worth the trip over Johnnie's imo better bang for you buck with the amount of meat.

Jay's is the move. Great food, fast, friendly. A classic spot with the wall decor/history to prove it. Beef is cut thin and fries are made fresh. What more could you want?

Definitely the best italian beef on my list. This is our go to place for more than 20 yrs. Their beef is so flavorful with hot peppers and au jus. My husband alao irdered steak sandwich and also yummy. He likes to dip the steak sandwixh in the au jus! Service is fast. Place is cool.

On recommendation from Facebook, I decided to give this place a try. I even told the man behind the counter. They have a nice size parking lot. I walked in and order a beef, dipped with hot peppers and fries. As I waited for my food, I noticed the place was a little dark, but once my eyes adjusted it was fine. They have a little gaming nook also. I unwrapped my sandwich and it was piping hot and dipped just right. The beef was tender and flavorful, with a delicious giardiniera that had a nice heat. Bite after bite the bread slowly gave way to the juicy beef. No complaints from me. I know to ask for extra hot giardiniera the next time. The fries were crispy and fluffy. They were well salted and hot. Looking forward to my next sandwich from this place.

Before flying back to Florida & I had to grab me some Italian Beef & I'm glad I stopped in to Jay's. I got it with hot & sweet peppers plus provolone cheese. It was packed with beef & oh so delicious! The guys working the counter were cool. I definitely will be back the next time I fly in!
